Selected Workshops

My formal art education was through the University of Maryland, Far East Division and private lessons in Japan and Germany. Most recently I have taken workshops in Colorado offered by Louise Cadillac, Katie Brandt, Jackie McFarland, and Betty Grace Gibson. I am presently continuing my art education in an Artists' Workshop held at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado.

Selected Exhibitions

I began exhibiting my work in 1978 with solo shows at the Anvil Studio in Pottstown, Pennsylvania as well as the Belcastro Gallery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1982. Solo shows were also held for me in Ramstein and Vogelweh, Germany. While living in Germany I produced the art work for a commercial brochure. My Japanese Sumie was featured during a Special Japanese Show co-sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum and the Foothills Art Center. I have juried into shows sponsored by the Lakewood Art Council, Mountainside Arts Council, Colorado Artists Guild, Evergreen Arts Council, the Colorado Watercolor Society as well as the Western Federation of Watercolor Socities. I have received numerous awards in several of these exhibitions. My works hang in private collections in Europe as well as the United States. A recent work was purchased by the City of Aurora, Colorado for display in a public building.
